VPN setup in short
Most services ship their own app, and the app is the part that breaks: it disappears from a store, it demands an update, it refuses to run on an older phone. BSR works the other way around. The product is a key, a single vless:// line, and it goes into a free general purpose client that you install yourself. The whole VPN setup is three actions: install a client, get the key from the Telegram bot, paste it.
The same key works on up to five devices at once. There is nothing to log in to, so moving from a phone to a laptop means pasting the same line again, not creating a second account.

How to install a VPN key in three steps
- 1Install a free client for your device from its official store page or its GitHub releases page.
- 2Message @bsr_key_bot in Telegram, take the ten free days and copy the vless:// link, or keep the QR code on screen.
- 3Inside the app use import from clipboard or the QR scanner, then choose a location and turn the connection on.
Why a client instead of our own app
A general purpose client is maintained by people whose only job is the client. It is open source, it is audited in public, and it supports several protocols, so it is not a target when stores remove VPN brands. If one client stops being updated, the key moves to the next one in a minute. You are never locked to our software, because there is no our software.
It also keeps us honest. We cannot add a tracker to an app we do not publish. What runs on your device is code you can inspect or replace.
Before you start

Questions people ask before the first key
Is VPN setup trickier with no dedicated app?
No. Barely. You add a single paste, which is quicker than registering with an email and a password, and the client keeps the key after the first import.
What is the best first client to try?
Choose Hiddify when you want identical screens everywhere. On Android most people reach for v2rayNG, iPhone owners get Streisand for free, and Windows users commonly settle on v2rayN.
Will I have to touch the operating system settings?
No. The client asks for permission to create a VPN connection the first time, which is a standard system prompt. There are no profiles, certificates or manual routes to add.
Is a work or school laptop fair game?
Only when the owner lets you add software. On a managed machine, the administrator's rules come first. The guide for Chromebooks explains the difference between managed and personal devices.
My device is not in the list, what now?
Whatever app understands VLESS links can take the key. On Linux, NekoRay and sing-box are the usual picks, and an Android TV box can run v2rayNG.
Does the key expire when I change phones?
No. The key is tied to the term, not to a device. Install a client on the new phone and paste the same line.
