Pick by distance for speed or by country for the catalogue you want.
- Ashburn, Virginia (US East): the default for the East Coast and for US services
- Los Angeles, California (US West): nearest for the West Coast and the Pacific
- Toronto (Canada): Canadian services and a close alternative for the northern states
- London (United Kingdom): UK services and the nearest European entry from the East Coast
- Frankfurt (Germany): central Europe and a good route while travelling on the continent
- Tokyo (Japan): East Asia, and usually the first location to try from China
Which one to pick
Distance is the only real difference between the locations. Pick the closest one for everyday use and a named country when the region matters, for example a US location to reach your home services while you travel. One tap switches location and the key stays the same throughout.
Why there are six and not sixty
Long country lists are mostly virtual locations that nobody uses. Six real ones cover what our customers actually connect for: the two US coasts, Canada, the UK, continental Europe and East Asia. If a location is slow for you, tell the bot. Load per location is the one figure we do watch, so we know when to add capacity.
We do not publish speed promises, because speed depends on your own line and your provider's route. The five free days exist so you can measure it yourself.
