Free VPN for websites is not the same as a free app
People who search application VPN free often need something narrower: a free VPN for websites that are blocked where they sit, or a free VPN for site access on one laptop. For a single page a browser based tool may be enough. For regular use across apps you need a system wide tunnel, and at that point the quality of the software on your device matters a great deal.

Is any free VPN application safe?

Why would a VPN app want access to my contacts?
